With so many trim levels, from the basic Select to more luxurious models, and a fuel-efficient hybrid, the hardest part will be deciding which one to choose. Mazda also offers numerous available packages for the 2025 CX-50.

Standard enhanced driver-assist technology on the CX-50 offers a rear-seat alert feature and improved nighttime performance for the pedestrian detection safety feature. All models now have a standard push-button start and an increased 10.3-inch infotainment display from the previous year’s model. And, a standard wireless smartphone charging pad is available on all but the Select base trim.

Prepare for a thrill with the CX-50’s precise handling even with its base non-turbo standard all-wheel drive six-speed automatic transmission and 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 187-hp. For a more dynamic ride, opt for the 2.5 turbo or 2.5 S models. You can elevate your experience further with the commanding Turbo Meridian Edition CX-50 that puts out 256-hp with a towing capacity up to 3,500 pounds.

Count on an abundance of nice standard driver-assist features on the latest Mazda CX-50. Safety features including lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control are all standard. Features like a 360-degree exterior camera and automatic high-beam headlamps are available too.

Inside, the 2025 Mazda CX-50 offers an upscale vibe with niceties like dual climate control, and standard features, like a telescoping, tilting steering wheel, have been added as well. With comfortable front seats and ample space for five passengers, the CX-50 is a great family-friendly choice.

Along with its improved 10.3-inch infotainment screen, the CX-50 offers Mazda Connected Services capability controlled with a click wheel on the vehicle’s center console.
